The P&M Edits

A considered set of notes on hotels, restaurants, bars and global escapes.

Written for planning, not saving.

How Edits work

Edits are written to remove guesswork. Each one is a considered read on a hotel, restaurant, bar, experience or place to go, shaped by the details that matter once you are there.

The aim is not to cover everything. The aim is to make the decision easier and the experience better, with calm guidance you can use quickly.

What an Edit includes

An Edit includes timing notes that change the mood, a room or table note when it genuinely matters with and clear direction on what to order and what to expect. It also ends with a short line on who it suits, so expectations are set before you arrive.

The standard

Every recommendation is judged on five points: service, design, food and drink, atmosphere and value. Value is not cheap or expensive. It is whether the experience earns the price paid. If it does not deliver, it does not make the Edit.

Transparency

Hosted stays, partnerships and invitations are always noted. Opinions remain our own.
