Martinez Bar at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes has been named among the world's 37 Hotel Star Bars for 2026 by Forbes Travel Guide.

The annual list recognises hotel bars that excel across service, atmosphere, beverage programmes and overall guest experience following anonymous inspections conducted as part of Forbes Travel Guide's Star Ratings process.

The recognition comes during a notable year for Hôtel Martinez, which recently received France's prestigious Palace distinction and continues to strengthen its position as one of the French Riviera's most recognisable luxury hotels.

Designed by Rémi Tessier, the space blends Art Deco influences with a contemporary Riviera aesthetic and has quickly established itself as a destination, drawing in visitors and locals from across the Riviera.

During our recent stay at Hôtel Martinez, Martinez Bar and the team led by Delphine Grossmann stood out as one of the highlights of the property. While Cannes offers no shortage of places for an evening drink, Martinez Bar successfully balances the glamour associated with the hotel while remaining the perfect go-to as part of any Cannes itinerary.

Industry awards should always be viewed in context, but this latest recognition reinforces what many guests have already discovered: Hôtel Martinez is continuing to evolve beyond its historic reputation, with Martinez Bar becoming an important part of the experience.
